I am a researcher in the group Certifiable Trustworthy IT Systems at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. From June 2009 to August 2010, I was a scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering in Kaiserslautern. Prior to joining the Fraunhofer IESE, I was at SAP Labs India, where I worked on agile development using Service Oriented Architecture. I graduated with a Master of Technology degree from IIIT-Bangalore in 2007 where I did my masters thesis on Quality of Service in Storage Area Networks under the supervision of Prof G. N. Srinivasa Prasanna.

My research interests lie in the area of privacy and data protection in general, and distributed data usage control in particular. I am presently working on the translation of high-level usage control policies into low-level implementation-specific policies.
In the past, I have worked on many different topics. You can see the complete list of my publications here. For my earlier academic work as a student, visit my student academic profile.
